Trump Shares AI Video Showing Obama Being Arrested
In another barb at the democrats, Donald Trump has recently shared an AI-generated video showing the former US President Barack Obama being arrested by the FBI agents in the Oval Office. The video was posted by Trump on his Truth Social platform on Sunday, which went viral within minutes.
According to sources, the video was generated using deepfake technology with highly realistic scenes showing Barack Obama being handcuffed and taken by the FBI agents while Donald Trump has been seen smiling during the act.
The roots of the video go towards TikTok, which was later shared by Trump on Sunday without any commentary. The clip is also captioned with “No one is above the law”. In the video’s beginning, various other prominent democratic leaders, including former US President Joe Biden, are shown saying the same statement, “No one is above the law”. A meme of Pepe the Frog then takes over the screen while honking its red nose, signaling towards mocking their statements.
The video received strong reactions on the social media platform, where Trump’s supporters have been celebrating the post while others claimed it to be misleading and provocative.
X handle republicans said against Trump, “Anything to distract from the Epstein files…,” while other user Publius asked, “Will Obama be arrested?”
Political commentator Nick Sortor commented, “Make this a reality.” Similarly, MAGA Voice has reshared the video while saying, “I absolutely voted for this.”
The AI video mocking Barack Obama has circulated at the same time as Tulsi Gabbard, the director of National Intelligence, made serious claims. According to a statement by Gabbard on Friday, she has some “striking” and “overwhelming” poof that some of Obama’s top associates made up the collusion story about Trump and Russia after the 2016 election. According to her, the story aimed at stopping Trump from becoming the president.
Furthermore, Gabbard also shared that she is planning to share the secret documents with the Department of Justice and the FBI, so that they can take prompt action against Obama. However, Obama and his team have not responded to either video or comments.
Gabbard said on Sunday for Fox News’s Sunday Morning Futures, “The implications of this are frankly nothing short of historic. Over 100 documents that we released on Friday really detail and provide evidence of how this treasonous conspiracy was directed by President Obama just weeks before he was due to leave office, after President Trump had already gotten elected.”
