Google I/O 2025: Google AI Pro and AI Ultra plans

While AI Pro was already available to users with the former name Premium Plan, AI Ultra is a new offering from the company. Google AI Ultra Plan- $249/Month

In simple words, this subscription plan is a VIP pass to access the best AI features from Google. From filmmakers to developers, researchers, and creators, AI Ultra Plan has something for all. Gemini Access
The new subscription plan provides access to best of Google’s Gemini features with top-tier usage limites along with early access to Veo 3, the upcoming video generation model. Also, a new Deep Think mode is expected to roll out in the coming month that will further enhance the reasoning capabilities of platform.
Flow
AI Ultra Plan offers access to the new tool named Flow, developed in collaboration with Google and DeepMind. The new tool is designed to create cinema video sequences by using simple prompts. At the same time, AI Ultra Plan unlocks the finer camera control, maximum video quality (1080), and early access to Gemini models, Imagen, and Veo.
Whisk
AI Ultra Plan subscribers will be able to animate still images into short videos using the creative AI tools Whisk. The top-tier access is available for users who are allowed to create an eight-second clip using Veo 2.
Notebook LLM
AI Ultra plan comes with enhanced model intelligence and increased capacity for NotebookLM that assists students, researchers, and tutors majorly in academics. The new capabilities in NotebookLLM are also expected to launch this year.
Gemini Embedded in Google Workspace
Subscribers will be able to leverage Gemini features directly from the Google apps like Docs, Gmail, and more. It is focused on streamlining everyday tasks with better contextual assistance.
Gemini in Chrome
Along with the Google applications, AI Ultra users will also be able to explore and enjoy Gemini advancements through Chrome browser. It provides the personalized assistance according to the page type you are scrolling on Chrome.
Project Mariner
This is a new experimental feature that acts like an intelligence agent to manage as much as 10 tasks simultaneously. For instance, it is able to perform online research, manage bookings nad reservations, and streamline purchases.
30 TB of Storage
Google AI Ultra Plan also provide access to 30 TB of cloud storage that can be used in Google Drive, Photos, and Gmail. The storage can be used to store content, AI videos, and more.

Google AI Pro Plan ($19.99/Month)
The existing premium plan from Google has now been turned into the Google AI Pro Plan. This is the entry-level plan for Gemni that comes with a suite of AI features allowing users to explore the world of artificial intelligence. According to Google I/O 2025 Developers Conference, the AI Pro Plan is free for school and university students in Japan, the USA, Brazil, the UK, and Indonesia. Gemini App
Subscribers gets access to Gemini 2.5 along with Deep Reseearch Model which makes it one of the most capable AI tools from Google. This tool reportedly helps in tasks like coding, writing, and data analysis. Also, AI Pro Plan user can also use the video geneation feature in Veo 2 model.
Flow
Just like the higher subscription tier, AI Pro plan user will also be getting access to Flow, Google’s AI-integrated filmmaking tool. Just by putting the simple prompts, user can generate cinematic scenes and short stories.
Whisk
AI Pro plan subscribers will also be able to explore the Whisk AI tool, where they can transform images into short videos.
NotebookLM
Users can access five times more Audio Overviews, enhanced features for summarization, additional notebooks, idea generation, study assistance, and advanced features for summarization.
Gemini in Google Space
With Google AI Pro Plan, Gemini can be integrated into Google Workspace tools, including Gmail and Docs, to edit documents, create AI videos, draft emails, and more.
Gemini in Chrome
Similar to another plan, Google AI Pro Plan offers the early access to users to integrate Gemini in their Chrome browsers to get assistance in their webpage content.
2 TB of Storage
All the above features and access come with an additional 2 terabytes of storage that can be used across Google Drive, Google Photos, Gmail, etc. that can be used to store AI-generated content and files.
